Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. The Extras NI office is now closed for the Christmas holidays! We will reopen on Wednesday 4th January 2017.

AND WE’RE LIVE! Slots for our coming photo shoot on Saturday 12th November are now open for booking. Approx 70% of those who attended our last photoshoot in August have been contacted with an offer of work on 1 or more of our productions.

So proud of our very own Carla Stronge on winning her first Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Drama for all her hard work on Game of Thrones!

If you’re interested in improving your Extras NI profile, the number one thing we recommend is having a professional photo taken. The timing of this shoot couldn’t be better as we are gearing up for a busy period here at Extras NI HQ.

Working with Children – Extras NI’s members and Disclosure Certificates

From 1st January 2016 PACT (Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television) along with the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, ITV & SKY require that all Extras who are employed by productions involving children, must have obtained a valid disclosure certificate within the previous 18 months. PACT together with the broadcasters are committed to safeguarding children working in our industry.
